Kitchen
Units
Cabinets :
Unlike many kitchen companies, we build to individual needs. We do not
have a standard size of cabinet - they are always made to suit room
sizes and are proportioned to look right within the surroundings. We
offer a very high build specification which sets us apart from low
budget kitchen manufacturers. Instead of chipboard, our carcasses use a
combination of veneered M.D.F. or plywood. Crown cut veneers are
usually selected as these best enhance the graining.
Our units feature 19 mm thick sides fitted directly to the floor -
there are no adjustable legs as strength is often required for the
heavy granite work surfaces which are our speciality. After spray
polishing the carcasses, we hand craft a fascia framework to achieve a
more traditional look.
The customer's specified timber is then fixed to the carcasses. Door
and draw fronts are neatly inset and the doors are hung on solid brass
or cast iron butt hinges. Inset adjustable door catches all add to the
high build specification. Dovetail drawers are supplied in solid woods
with veneered bases for added strength. They also feature under
mounted, self closing runners and adjustable shelves.
Materials :
Work is undertaken in maple, ash, elm, cherry, English, American and
European hardwoods. We also specialise in old pine kitchens and hand
painted finishes.
Worktops : 30
mm and 20 mm thick worktops in granite or slate are available in many
colours. Corian, stainless steel or wood are further options. We offer
a templating and installation service - see below.

Appliances
We supply appliances by Britannia,
Miele,
Smeg,
Viking,
AEG,
Bosh,
Aga,
Maytag
and Neff.
However, should you have a special requirement, we will strive to
obtain the necessary items.

Accessories
A full range of chrome and wire work accessories are available on
request. These include larders and corner baskets.

Other
Interior Commissions
In addition to kitchens, we can also supply bookcases for libraries,
bedroom and bathroom furniture and wooden flooring in oak and antique
pine.

Design
Services
We are pleased to offer a free survey. Just give us an idea of what you
require and we will endeavour to produce a working design that fully
meets your requirements. Plans and quotations are chargeable, but
refundable on the placing of an order. Each commission is priced as a
one off. Our quotations and plans are detailed and thoroughly laid out
with individual descriptions of the units. They include a full
breakdown of costings including VAT or, in the case of new or Grade II
houses, exemption from this tax.

Installation
Kitchen installation is always carried out by ourselves - we do not
employ contract labour. However, we do use qualified electricians and
reputable builders when necessary for associated work. We undertake
plumbing and supervise the complete works until the job has been
completed to the high standards that we set.
Please note that final payment will not be paid until the customer is
completely happy with our work.
